The Host by Stephenie Meyer

I just finished "The Host" by Stephenie Meyer and I absolutely LOVED it! It took me all yesterday and into this afternoon, but I could not put it down. Brian even gave me a free night last night to be able to read as quickly as I could. It took me about 100 pages to get into the the new story line and maybe because I was stuck into looking for Bella and Edward. After that 100 pages, it got really intense and I could not put it down. I even took it to work to read.

I'm not sure if I like the name Wanda, even though I really liked the character. Stephenie did a wonderful job with this book, but you need to go into without the expectations of Twilight. Let the characters develop and you will really truly love them. As always, Stephenie was very good with her kissing scenes and she was wonderfully descriptive with the cave that I can clearly see it in my mind. Anyway, I LOVED it and recommend it as at GREAT read!

OHHHH, I'm for sure going to have to read that one. Maybe I'll have to pick it up when I come up this weekend!

I am planning to read this soon. I am finishing a book written by a ramp worker in Atlanta. (Long story) It is along the Harry Potter line. I appreciate your comment to not look for Edward and Bella, I have a tendency to to try and match books. I'll let you know when I have finished it.

Hope you can get a ticket to the booksigning and get her autograph.
