That is pretty funny. It almost true though. US Airways announced that is going to start charging $15 for you to check a bag and then charge you $2 for a drink on the flight. There was another airline (American or United) thats following. It won't be long until they charge for toilet paper!
Ha Ha. United or American now charges between $15 and $30 of you choose a seat at the front of the plane. Allegiant charges if you want to sit in the exit rows. (They also expect you to assist in an emergency). Also, American or United charges $15 for the first bag and #25 for the second. Welcome to the new friendly skies. Did you notice that buddy passes pay an additional $10 each way for fuel charge. I checked the prices for LAX to HNL for travel in Jan 09 and I found a price as low as $162each way with a sure charge (fuel) of $120 each way. Almost fifty percent of the total cost was for fuel charges and taxes. The total was $599.87. Looks like we stay home for awhile. Oh well, maybe there will be a few more seats for non revs if less people fly. This retiree is lookig for this to happen.

Put on thy beautiful garments, O daughters of Zion. Live up to the great and magnificent inheritance which the Lord God, your Father in Heaven, has provided you. Rise above the dust of the world. Know that you are daughters of God, children with a divine birthright. Walk in the sun with your heads high. Know that you are loved and honored, that you are part of His kingdom, and that there is for you a great work to be done which cannot be left to others. - Gordon B Hinckley

That video was hilarious. Thank you so much for making my rough day a little bit better.
