The Last Lecture

What day is it? Life has been very hectic here at the house, and I have not had the time to sit down and blog. I feel so behind, but oh well! One thing that I did want to comment on is that Randy Pausch died last Friday. If you do not know who he is, well then you are missing out. He is a man/professor that was dying from Pancreatic (sp?) cancer. He wrote a last lecture about achieving your dreams. One of the most remarkable stories I have ever heard. Here is a little glimpse into his life.

You can watch his entire lecture below or you can go and buy his book. I encourage all to go out and do something that reminds you of a childhood dream. I love listening to him, because he gets it! Be kind and loving and remember how wonderful every breath you are given is a gift.

Randy Pausch was a programming genius. He invented a program that made it easier to create animated story telling games. If you have ever played "Sims", that is using the programming language that he invented. He was a great speaker that could take really boring stuff and make it understandable and interesting.

He was one of those spirits that you know was taken home early because he was needed elsewhere. He was a great man.

I agree with Janet. I'm sure a good spirit was needed elsewhere.
Thanks for sharing an inspiring message today!

This guy was really neat. I saw him on Oprah and was so touched by the message he left for his children and everyone, really.
