My Grandma Henrie has requested that I post this video of Shaeler on my blog so my parents can see that she has mastered all of her short vowel sounds and knows a handful of sight words.
Shaeler starts preschool next week and she is so excited to go. I am excited for her to be able to play with her buddies and she absolutely adores school.
I am so thankful for Grandma Henrie taking the time every week to sit down with Shae and teaching her. I certainly do not have the patience like she does and after all of her years of teaching, she is a master. She has the cutest little sayings when she is teaching Shaeler how to write numbers. I will never forget things like "around the tree, around the tree, that is how we make a three." or "down and over and down some more, this is how we make a four."
Hopefully Shaeler will have a clear memory of sitting down and working with her Great Grandma Henrie aka Great Grandma Suri (what Shaeler calls her!)

Oh I miss her so much, she is just so cute. And oh my what a good reader she is too. I loved the deep breaths she would take before starting a sentence. I woke the kids up to see the video. They loved it and laughed at the bug part.
Awesome!
So cute! Yay for memories with Grandma!
She is so dang cute!!!!
My favorite part is when she says "how was that mama?" I also love when she breathes in with her cute little sighs. No games, honest. Please call again so that I can repair this.
What a darling little girl! And what a sweet grandmother...Grandmas are so wonderful!
