And Let the Celebration Begin!

One of my favorite things about December is all of the Christmas parties that we get to attend. The past couple of nights, I purposefully stayed home in my jammies to rest and recharge to prepare myself for the next 3 weeks.

That's right, 3 weeks until Christmas! Whohoo!

Crazy how life can get not only on the weekends, but during the week also! And I love it!! I was going over my calendar for the next week and I am blown away that we have something everyday. Want a peek, OK!

Today: C's dance recital

Saturday: In-laws Christmas breakfast and visit Salt Lake Temple

Sunday: First Presidency Christmas message

Monday: FHE - Christmas lesson on Mary, Joseph and Savior (Jen, using your Holland story, thanks!)

Tuesday: Relief Society Christmas Dinner

Wednesday: YW White Elephant Party

Thursday: Shae day Christmas Lights

Friday: Friend Christmas Party

Saturday: Ward Christmas Party (YW have a part in the program)

Sunday: Breathe after big day of meetings

I could go on and on and I am sure that some of your lists could probably trump mine.

The only reason I bring this up, that as we are very busy this season, I am just trying to remind myself and others to enjoy the moment. Don't let the stress get to you and be sure to take a few time outs now and again. Enjoy the people and the Christmas spirit. Enjoy the time and then take a moment and Be Still!

3 weeks! ahhhhh!
I'm like you--the next 3 weeks are insane. It doesn't help that Mariko was born on the 20th.
Lets try to enjoy it--before we turn around it will be BORING January!

So, you're telling me you don't have time to come decorate my house. Fine, I will do it myself. :) Could you at least help me consume all of the treats?

Three weeks? I don't want to hear that phrase again until early March. Yeah, that sounds good.

You guys seem just about as busy as we are. We only have 2 nights that we don't have to do something between now and Christmas. And I'm already losing my mind! Good luck to you!
