A Mission of Inner Peace!

One of my favorite cartoon characters is Oogway the turtle from Kung Fu Panda.
That guy has it all figured out mentally and he can stand on a stick on his head! Now that is impressive!
He goes with the flow, everything makes sense and he has a peaceful calmness about him. Most of all he is happy all the time.
A favorite scene from that movie is when Shifu is meditating and muttering the words "inner peace, inner peace." And then he yells at the duck for flapping his wings. Haha! (Funny because the duck is flying in from thousands of miles away).
The last few months, I have felt out of balance, completely drained and not being able to give everything my all. My best all that is. My well is dry and I feel kind of like I am limping along. So not who I am, and so not at peace with myself.
I am excited that I will be taking a break and focusing on just me and my husband and my daughter. Inner peace is my goal and maybe when it is all done, I will be able to stand on my head while balancing on a stick! Hey, never say never!

I love Oogway too...he is the best.
I think inner peace is a great goal and one that we are all probably striving for.

You know what helps with inner peace?

Lunch with a girlfriend.

Let's hook it up!

What? Taking a break?
From the blog? Or a vac-ay?

I'm not understanding..

I agree with everything Mackenzie said..

As someone who has lifted me up when I have been down, I wish nothing but the same for you my friend! I hope you find the peace and order you are looking for. Take all the time you need. Lots of love, hugs and good karma coming your way! xoxo

I have been feeling the same way recently. I see so many things that are out of balance, and I see that I've let things get that way.

If only we could all be more like Oogway. Do some Yoga, it always helps me get centered and helps me bring the balance back into my life.

Is this a bloggy break? If it is i would fully understand because I call them myself but know that you would be missed.

InnerPeace is something i think we all strive dailey and those still moments when all seems right is just bliss and sweet to the soul, So I hope your week is filled with lots of time for you.
Love,
Tierra

You know, I was just thinking about you as I watch Kung Fu Panda for the one hundred millionth time (it's my 2-year-old's favorite right now) and started thinking about you and this post. Then I remember something my sister told me a couple weeks ago during my 'rut' I was in. You must be doing/about to do something very important for the other side to be working so hard to get your mind cluttered and discouraged.
Good for you to take a break and declutter your mind and life. Keep doing whatever it is your doing - because it is something good and something right!

Oh my dear ... I sure love you - as my sister. I know all too well of those discouraging places. You are a wonderful woman, wife, mother and friend. I am glad to see you are getting away from things for a while. You need to fill up your well so you can continue on in your self-less life.

Ummm .... never seen Kung Fu Pands. Guess I need to do that. When I do watch it - from here on out - I will always think of you.

Have a wonderful, wonderful time. Soak it up. Enjoy it. I'm afraid it will go by much too fast.
