Forever Strong!

I have been waiting to see this movie for a long time. A friend had recommended it to me when it was in the theatres, but I was not able to go see it.
It came out on DVD May 26, and we were suppose to go over and watch it with some friends. We got the invite, but it was the night of our anniversary. A bit awkward? Yeah, we had to pass.
I was able to serve along side my dear friend Renee at the open house, and she brought up the movie again. I thought to myself, I am just going to rent it and see what it is all about or I am not going to get it off my mind. So, Friday evening I rented it and watched it along with Brian.
I LOVED it!! I had been feeling a bit blue the day before and this movie is extremely motiving. It is about the Highland Rugby team here in Salt Lake City. The story line is pulled from events that have actually happened to the team. It is about a troubled boy that joins the rugby team and is taught by a different method of coaching. The coach uses methods that are positive, uplifting and motivating. He sees beyond a high school team and is building strong boys to become strong men once they are off the field. This is the kind of stuff I THRIVE off of. Making a difference by being honest, clean, commited, loyal and selfless.
I highly recommend Forever Strong if you are at the video store. It will have you looking at your life much differently!

I saw it recently and LOVED it too for all the same reasons you listed. I bought it at Seagull books to watch again and again.

I bought it. I LOVE it!

I almost didn't see it or buy it as I thought "Oh no another sport movie". But someone recommended it to me very strongly so I gave in and was so glad that I did.

It is a good movie with a GREAT message!

We'll add this to the list of movies to watch. There are ALOT we havent seen! I'm kinda anti-movies right now. I'm still angry at the last movie I watched.. 2 1/2 hours of wasted time that I can never get back. Grrrr.
