Birthday-a-Rama!

This year, Shaeler turned 5!
Big year for her! Last year, we went to Wall-E and had a small celebration. This year, I wanted to do something different to celebrate this awesome little girl.
So, I rented out a waterpark for my family and friends.
Private party it said out front, and it was awesome to be surrounded only by the ones I love.

The birthday girl grinning ear to ear over the event. She had a ball and that was most important to me.

At first the children were reluctant and were grabbing tubes and floaties to play in the water. However, when they found out that a huge play area was only shallow water, the floating devices were ditched very quickly.

I asked everyone to bring a dessert to share. Melissa brought these hamburger cupcakes and they stole the show. Those are cupcakes with brownies and frosting in the center. They went so fast, I was not able to snatch one. The children kept screaming out "Someone brought crabby patties!!" Melisssa, you are a genious!

Shae hanging out with some of her neighborhood buddies!

We had to round people up out of the pool and it was like begging to get a small child to come in. Nobody wanted to get out of the pool, they were having such a great time. Once I said food, the crowds came a little more easily. Here is Shae blowing out her birthday cupcake. That is what she wanted for her birthday, cupcakes.

Shaeler sporting her new swimsuit. She picked it out for her party. She is very close to the spirit and was concerned about wearing something modest. Really, at 5 she talks about modesty. She did a great job! Thata girl!

My cup runneth over to watch all of my friends and family swimming together with their children. The kids loved the fountains that shot water out into the air.

My favorite part of the party was watching everyone go down the big slide. Look at the expression on some of these faces.....

Shae got lots of presents and loved all of them. Thank you to all that came out and spent this special night with us! We love you!

Best swim party I have ever attended. I give it a 10 out of 10. This will be tough to top for future birthdays.
