Brian and Shaeler celebrate their birthdays days apart. Brian is on July 20th and Shaeler is on July 24th. This year was a low key year for the birthday parties and so we celebrated family style.
On Brian's birthday we:
Went to lunch with Jordan at Jalisco's and made plans for the WetoMe bike ride.
Went to the DMV to renew Brian's license. He pulled off a miracle for the eye test, I thought for sure he was going to be denied because of his eye sight. It was a miracle, he passed!!
That night we went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and cleaned the chandelier in the celestial room.
Yup, each crystal one by one. We were only able to get three tiers done. Brian stood on a ladder in just socks. His feet were dying but he never once complained.
For Shaeler's birthday we:
Surprised Shaeler with an overnight stay at Little America! She spent hours in the pool. We invited friends up to come and swim and celebrate both birthdays with a Baskin Robbins cake! Mmmmm!
We awoke the next morning for the Breakfast Buffet. The whip cream alone was to die for.
That afternoon we went to
LOVED IT!!
We then went to Leatherby's with my parents and had a lovely time with them.
Sunday we celebrated with Brian's sister as her birthday is coming up this next week.

I love the chandlers in the Oquirrh Mountain! I love that they are star shaped! What a neat experience to do that!
I used to make Baskin Robbin's ice cream cakes. That is were I learned to cake decorate. That was my high school job.
