Defender of Marriage

May is here and I have decided this year that I am declaring the month of May as my month of love.  Brian and I will be celebrating our 13th Anniversary this month and I would love to post some of my favorite Brian stories of he and I. 

  I have actually known Brian for almost 20 years and words cannot express how grateful I am to have him throughout almost all of my life.  Truly I believe it was intended for Brian to be a part of my life from the beginning.  Do I believe in soul mates?  Yes, I do! 

At my office, I work with some really great peopele.  We are a small office and 2 of my employees have never been married and have both declared that neither one has any desire to marry. EVER! 

It makes me sad to think that their independant declarations as bold as they are have a tinge of ignorance that they will never understand.  There are so many beautiful things about marriage that you cannot describe to someone until you have experienced it.  Yes, there are the ups and the downs, but it is the refining process of making each other better for one another. 

I am a defender of marriage.  And I believe that I have some great evidence as to why marriage is one of the greatest blessings one can ever experience. 

Well, evidence enough that makes me a firm believer that I am one of the luckiest girls in the world!
