Yesterday, Ann posted her review about Stargirl on her blog. I dropped off some videos to her and she gave me this book to read.
"Star Girl" by Jerry Spinelli
I cannot stop thinking about all of the beautiful life lessons in this book. The author did an incredible job in pulling the reader in to characters lives in a mere short 188 pages.
What I loved most about this book was that it taught to be true to who you are and it does not matter what other people think of you. It also taught to find happiness in the little simple things in life and getting in tune with the little blessings around us. It taught to serve others because you love, not to get credit.
I could go on and on....
This is a beautiful book. I highly recommend reading it and applying some of its life lessons.

Yeah! I'm so glad you liked it! It has definitely jumped to the top of my "favorite" pile. I am equally impressed that Ann read and liked it. Here's to great books!
