Shae was nervous to go around by herself, so I stashed the camera in the car and we ran around the place like 2 little girls. (Well, one of us is a little girl, but do we really need to get technical?)
I got a work out for myself. My legs and arms are dying! I broke a sweat even. I started noticing that I was the only mommy running around with the kids and then the next thing I knew I had a pack of kids following Shae and I. I always wonder why the youth get to have all the fun? My philosophy is "if you can't beat em, join em!" So we tore it up. Me, Shae and a pack of 5 other children ages 7 and below. Yeah, we started our own club! We are the mermaids and we are proud of it!
We are having our first club meeting next week: BYOCS&FS
Translation: (Bring your own capri sun and fruit snack!)
Club meeting agenda: Plan out activities the mermaids need to do for the day
Change any stinky diapers
Overcome fears of high slides
Laugh until our bellies hurt.
Meeting ajourned!

We have Kangaroo Zoo up here and both my kids love it. I have to admit that I've never been-they go with birthday parties. I'll have to try it sometime though.

My kids have already added this to the list of places they want to go with Shae and Robert has made it the place he wants his 6th birthday party at. I looks like a lot of fun.
I'm guessing this is like "Jump On It"? We took the YW earlier this year, and they had a great time. I couldn't do it because of my back, but it looked like a lot of fun. You are such a great mom to do Shae Day with your daughter!
