Pssstt! The starwberries look delicious!

I don't know about you? But have the strawberries not looked ever so much deliciously scrumptios lately? They sing to me, that is for sure.
So here is my big announcement!
Come one, come all to my house Thursday afternoon to make
canned strawberry jam or freezer jam.
Bring strawberries, the strawberry preserve stuff and your jars/containers and I will gleefully help you make your new found loving straws in storage/freezer for a year.
Kristen: Consider this your formal invite! haha!
Feel free to bring the kiddo's, Shae is dying for a friend to play with!
Yup, that's tomorrow, so make a quick trip to the store, cuz I am ready to cook!

MMMMM, Strawberries!!! What a fun idea. My sister and I did Raspberry peach jam together a few years ago and it was so fun. The funny thing is my kids don't eat it that good and I still have probably 10 jars left. Maybe I'll have to try a different kind, but for some reason, my kids just always want a plain PB sandwich or toast? Have fun!!!

MMMMmmmmm! They are so much better this year than they were last. Much sweeter. My sister made a bunch over the weekend and brought it over. Beware - my family will not eat store bought jam anymore. It has to be freezer jam. And if there is raspberry in the house - it never lasts long.

This is soo crazy.. I seriously am making it tomm or friday.. But I'm not sure which day. I would LOVE to make it with you.. because it's always funner with other girlies.. But.. I have to make it when Mary is in bed for a nap.. so it won't work for me this time..

I am down to my last jar! Carrie is right on! Ever since I started making it 7 years ago.. My family won't eat anything but homemade freezer jam now...

Memories of Grandma Henrie's strawberry jelly is all I can talk aobut right now. I will be there Friday to pick up a few jars, they sound delicious. ;)

Thank you for your kind thoughts and especially your prayers. Brian is doing a lot better. He is having further tests done, but it looks like it was a nerve spasm caused by stress.

I am trying to restructure our lifestyle, but getting him to change is like moving a mountain....you have to move a piece at a time. <3 Janet

I would like to come and I totally would but my little girl just came down with a fever of 103 last night and she is not feeling well. Sad that I won't be there.

Oooo homemade jam. I remember when the moms on my block would get together and make that stuff. It's so good with warm bread. Great! now I'm hungry. Good thing Panera is across the street... :)
