I like it when something normal provokes deep spiritual thoughts in me. Lately, every Sunday we have been sitting down and watching one of my favorite "mormon"movies, The Best Two Years. I LOVE this movie. I always laugh, cry and smile at the same parts of the movie and it is the only Sunday movie that Shae says "Lets watch the missionary movie again!" The last couple of viewings though, for some reason has been bringing up some deep thoughts within me. I think today I shall share:
Thought 1. I want to be a missionary right now!
Thought 2. Repentance is wonderful. The Atonement can cover all things except one. Time. We can never get the time back.
Thought 3. There will be a moment that we will look back upon our earthly journey and say "Man, that went by fast!" Live every moment to its fullest! Do not sit around and watch life pass you by.
Thought 4. This life will not be judged by what we accomplished or what we own. It will simply come down to the level of love we showed, expessed and sacrificed for God and others.
Thought 5. Happiness is something we do, not a destination we hope to some day get to.
And that is all I have to say today! Have a great one!

I like that movie too. Good points. I think we will leave this earth with all of our actions in tow, both good and bad. I figured you would want to wait and go on a mission with Brian rather than right now.
And actually I believe you are on a mission right now, just not specifically earmarked as such.
When we were living in Kansas City, our stake president challenged the members to pray for a missionary experience with hopes to get our numbers up enough to get a temple in the area closer than St. Louis or Winter Quarters. He promised that if we prayed for it, we would have one come to us. Evidently it worked because I had several and they announced the temple going up in Kansas City, Kansas last fall conference. I agree that I think you are already a missionary, but praying for those experiences won't hurt either. :)
