This tickles my soul!
My good friend Marisa and her friend have started a blog and are putting together workshops on how to teach the "girl next door" like you and me, on how to take great shots with our stinckin camera's!
THIS IS BRILLIANCE!
Someone to teach me how to use my camera, how to look for angles, how to edit my pictures, I mean the list goes on and on! Give a man a fish, he will eat for a day! Teach a man to fish, he will eat for a life time!
Don't get me wrong, I am not looking to replace our professional shots by my work. No, these people are professionals for a reason. However, I cannot afford to see them once a month, let alone I am shooting for every 2 years to get a family portrait done. So in the in between time, my family gets the photos that I take. I am saddened that many great moments in my life are hampered by my poor photography skills. Wait, that would be no skills, what so ever!
So, back to Joy-Ography! Marisa and her friend are professional photographers and are offering classes to teach you and I, some skills that will improve our photo taking! I love it!
I will not be able to attend their first class on March 6, however I am keeping my eye open on future classes. If you are interested, please check out their blogsite:

SA-WEET! I need all the help I can get in the photo taking department. Some days my photos turn out great, but mostly....they flop! I can't tell you how many times I've wished to take a photography, and also an editing class, but sadly....there are none anywhere close to my little village! Thanks for sharing!
