I have that song stuck in my head the last little while.
Perhaps it's my conscience reminding me that I feel a bit guilty for not posting anything for say..............like forever.
Life has been interesting these past few weeks. I have these great ideas for a post and then I lose the ambition to post.
Who am I lately? So unlike me, ya know?
As I am gathering thoughts and pictures for posts that I want to do, I will let you in on a little family game we play at our house.
It's called: I WISH!
We go around in circles and say what our hearts and dreams long for every day. Some spiritual, some materialistic, some...well just plain odd. Today I give you my list of "I Wishes!"
1. I Wish for warm summer weather.
2. I Wish for my garden to survive.
3. I Wish for patience.
4. I Wish for that Beehive Cake Stand at Deseret Book.
5. I Wish for answers.
6. I Wish for more weekends at Little America.
7. I Wish for a week vacation.
8. I Wish for my loved ones to not have to suffer.
9. I Wish for glitter toe nails.
10. I Wish for more family nights.
11. I Wish for Baskin Robbins Ice Cream Cake. Chocolate Chip/Chocolate Cake
12. I Wish for a more humble heart.
13. I Wish for grasshoppers to become extinct.
14. I Wish for the baby Robins in my tree to all survive.
15. I Wish for a nutritionist again.
16. I Wish for a camping trip in my backyard.
17. I Wish for an understanding of how to be a better friend.
18. I Wish for a Twix Bar.
19. I Wish for a long bike ride and my rear will not hurt.
20. I Wish for some summer shorts or skirts.
21. I Wish for my husband to build homes.
22. I Wish for my daughter to never say unkind things.
23. I Wish for myself to be more loving and nurturing.
24. I Wish for a trampoline.
25. I Wish for new shoes.
26. I Wish for a service opportunity every day.
27. I Wish for no rain at Youth Conference.
28. I Wish for compassion.
29. I Wish for a chef.
30. I Wish for 4 dentist visits a year.
31. I Wish for my home to be paid for.
32. I Wish for a peaceful country.
33. I Wish for you to know how much I care for you!
Alright, I will stop there. You know what? I am going to make one of those wishes come true today.

Those were great wishes! Made me think--although I don't really want to get started. Everyone in my family is out of town this week and I am home along with the DOG!! Although I think the dog is about excited about it as I am. :-)
I really hope your baby robins survive. I love little baby birds. We get them around our house all the time. Some live, some don't. So sad when they don't.

That was cute and fun. I really liked this post. I hear you on the good intentions! I think every day about posting but somehow when 10:15 rolls around, I just don't have it in me! Oh well... tomorrow is another day!
