This is my good friend Mackenzie's niece. Her name is Sadie and I talked about her a little earlier about she just finding out that she has brain cancer. This brave little 5 year old girl will start her courageous journey of radiation come the 17th of March. Her blog site is listed under my friends if you would like to read her entire story.
The reason I am blogging about her today is because her friends and family are trying to help her in any way that they can. First of all, they have created a team to run in her honor at the Salt Lake City Marathon 5K. The team is called "5 for 5" meaning 5 kilometers for a 5 year old. The money from the registration goes to the Huntsman Cancer Institute where Sadie is receiving her treatment. If you have been inspired or want to make a difference in a person life, sign up, join their team and help promote a miracle for this child. Second of all, they are asking for donations to help pay for her medical treatments and other costs. (Mainly gas, they are driving from Eagle Mountain to Primary Childrens everyday for the next 6 weeks). If you can donate $1.00 or $10.00 please contact me and I will give you the information to make a deposit at the bank.
You are probably thinking, "I don't know this child, I do feel bad, but does it really matter if I help?"

I'm glad you shared with us her story. I checked out her blog, and was teary-eyed when I read about her visit to see the Prophet. What a darling little girl. I hope her family gains much strength from this. Many blessings come from the hardest trials. I will try and help out someway. :)
