Gratitude Week: Day 1

I have decided that since Thanksgiving is all about gratitude that I would dedicate a week to my Gratitude list. Feels appropriate! Feels Festive! So for the following week, I will be posting the things that I am most thankful for in no particular order!

Day 1: My Ipod!

I love, love, love my ipod!! It is the best invention for me. I have the little 2G ipod that is old, but it works and I use it every day. I listen to music, speeches, books, BYU classic and new speeches. I can listen to my favorite artist over and over and over again, which currently by the way is Mindy Gledhill. I LUV her! She rocks!

I can listen to General Conference, scriptures and any other church broadcast BYU puts out. My favorite right now is Called to Serve by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. It is a holy piece of technology. I could upgrade, but I am content with what I have. I can organize all of my CD's into one area, and not have to tote around a CD case. There are no commercials and no songs that I have to worry about the lyrics.

I learn best when I hear and feel something. So when my Ipod is available to repeat over and over, it benefits me greatly! I am so thankful for my ipod and the wonderful words and music it has brought into my life. Yay, Ipod!

I have one of these, but don't use it too often. Although I am still grateful for them. They keep my kids occupied.

I don't have an ipod, but I do love my MP3 player. I currently have the twilight books on them. Seriously, how many times can I listen to them - as much as I want! :) It is awesome that they have the scriptures on MP3 now too.

BTW, when I heard MOTAB sing Called to Serve last conference, I think I cried for 10 minutes straight. LOVE IT!

I might have to steal your idea. ;)

Suzanne, Suzanne, Suzanne~ I'm so glad I got to meet you again, but I feel bad we didn't get to visit more? I guess that just means I'll have to plan another trip that way again soon, right? I want you to know I really meant it when I said our house is always open as a stop as you travel trough, you are welcome anytime! Monica
