2008! Thanks for the memories! I'm Ready to Leave Now!

It is the first day of 2009 and I was sitting with Brian last night evaluating our 2008 year thinking I am so thankful for the many things which happened this last year, but I am so grateful for 2009 to be here. Here are my favorite memories for the year of 2008:

Going to the Aquarium, Family trip to St. George, Easter down at the cabin, Easter more centered around the Savior, Moving into a new office, Dave Ramsey, Adoption Classes, BYU Womens Conference, Canning Chicken, Ward Pioneer Day, 9 Year Anniversary, Geneolagy Work, Memorial Day Grave Hunt, Ensign Peak, Park City with the Ladies, Volunteering for the Lions Club, Trek, Food Storage building, Girls Camp, Dinner at the Roof, Ward Camp Out, Cabin with the Dority's and Prettymans, Corn Maze, Shae Day, Cookies and Carmel Apples, Girls Night Out, New Blog Friends, Dressing up for Thanksgiving, First trip to the St. George and Las Vegas Temples, Sub4Santa, Christmas with my parents, 2009!

Phew! As horrible as 2008 may have seemed, I have a lot of new things that happened this year and I am so grateful for the opportunities and the experiences. I am so thankful for all that were able to experience it with me.

2009 is going to be even better. More great experiences, less trials. I can feel it! I lift my glass to the brand new year and I cannot wait to see what it has in store for me!

Hey - I participated in some of those good times. I guess 2008 wasn't all bad, eh? But I must say I'm not sorry to see it go either. Here's to a fabulous 2009!

Great perception--I agree that this last year had many challenges that helped us grow and struggle to learn the lesson necessary from that experience. I also agree that this next year will be an awesome year. New beginnings and letting go of the past.
