Things that have made me giggle lately.....Part 5

I actually look forward to doing this post and I am amazed that this post comes so easily every week. I love to look for the small joyous moments in my life and celebrate the beauty that really is around me all the time.

I am also finding the more I am grateful for, the more abundantly blessed I am.

And I can handle that! ;)

So, here is my list of things that have made me giggle in only the order of the pictures taken in my camera.

1. Kristen's Cookies Backfiring! HA!

Well, you know how I have been telling you about my friend Kristen, AKA the sabotager in our contest. The little devil brought over cookies to my house last night. She made home made oreo's and banana chocolate chip cookies. Now that's just playing dirty! Anyway, as we were sitting and visiting with them, her son sneaks off for a short period of time. I hear some rustling in my kitchen and ask Alpine what he is up to. WELL, nothing much, he only ate the plate of cookies that Kristen brought over. IT WAS AWESOME!!

Kristen was so mad and Shayn smiles at me and tells me I just dodged 6 silver bullets. That is the minimum amount of cookies that he ate! LOL! I cannot stop laughing over this one!

2. A Very Wonderful Thank You!

We get very few Sundays of the month that we don't have meetings all day long. When we have a free Sunday, well that pretty much equals family nap time! Last Sunday, I was awoken by the sound of the door bell ringing. I answered the door in my jammies and the Stake Relief Society President is standing at my door. She did one of those quick glances at my outfit and smiled. OH THE HUMANITY!

Anyway, she popped by to give me this beautiful picture of the Savior which was the theme of our Stake Relief Society Enrichment activity that I taught at. They were all over the tables at lunch time and I just adored them. How blessed I am to be a receiver of one of these beautiful pictures. I have set it on my nightstand so I can see it everyday, morning and night!

Thank you Sister Brown!

4. Brown eggs, green eggs, white eggs, who cares! They are FFFFFRRRRREEEEEE!!
We get free eggs from the Bowlers because there is no off button on chickens. I LOVE it! Look at me, I am totally going organic and GREEN! Literally! Cannot wait to use the green eggs on St. Patricks Day! He he! Saves me at least $2.00 on my grocery list and I will happily take the eggs! Thank you!

4. Brand new pair of earrings!
My parents were in town this last weekend and they gave me these earrings as a gift. My dad saw them and they reminded them of my eyes from the post I did about the Power of Eyes. I LOVE THEM! I think they are great and beautiful! I really love them because they were something that reminded my parents of me and so they bought them. Thank you!

5. My newest Apron!
Tonight, I attended our Relief Society Birthday Dinner. I am so glad that I did! I won an apron and it is the CUTEST THING EVER!! So appropriate for Spring and Summer. Very sassy! I will love wearing it because it will remind me of this night and the many laughs I had, blushing at what the Relief Society President was saying and loving the women that are around me. We may be a small Relief Society but we really do have great women in our ward.

6. Cinnamon Roll on a Stick!
Really, this is brilliant and hazardous at the same time. I have seen the cookies on a stick, but our ladies did the cinnamon rolls on a stick. I say genius! They are gorgeous and very yummy! However, my rear and thighs are not happy about this! Well, they are mini cinnamon rolls which means lesser calories right? You could eat 1 or 12, it doesn't matter! They are really like cinnamon roll vitamins, they are so small. I feel like an astronaut when I eat them! LOL! Darling idea Chelsea! You did a wonderful job tonight!

7. Bob Ross Happy Tree's T-Shirt!
I am on a mission to find the best shirts to give to my girlfriends at the BYU Women's Conference. I have a DI by my work that I swing out to once a week. This DI is like a gold mine, unlike the one that is closer to my home. Plus, the DI by my work is cheaper. Today, I found Bob Ross and I am tickled that I chose him to be part of the collection! C'mon! You can't beat that! I have been trying all day long to not be greedy and keep it for myself. I can do this! I can do this! However, seeing Happy Trees makes me so happy! Ha!

that happy trees shirt rocks! Isnt it funny that when you are passing through the channels and see that show you just have to stop and watch for a sec? Hope you are doing well.

I love seeing and reading the "little things" in life that bring people joy!! Those are some of my favorite posts!

As usual, you always make me laugh! I can't stop laughing about the "happy trees" shirt. We are big watchers of PBS and got our weekly laugh whenever we watched Bob Ross and YES, every single week while he was painting he always said the words "happy trees".

YAY for the eggs!! We have chickens and other than their 6 week molting, they do not have an "off button". I'm grateful our neighbors love getting FREE eggs too, even though they are brown. (some people get weird about eating eggs with colored shells). I am jealous of your GREEN eggs and would love to have chickens that laid green or blue eggs.

BTW....you can just boil up the green eggs for Easter and then decorate them and you won't have to deal with "egg dye" mess.

LOVE your apron and what adorable little cookies on a stick.

Happy Thursday! Only one more day until the weekend!
