Someone Fire the Tooth Fairy!

I don't know about your children, but it seems that Shaeler will go through a bout of losing her teeth.  Not just one, but multiple teeth in a week.

The tooth fairy is struggling with keeping up on her daily visits.

The tooth fairy may have forgotten to come...............two nights in a row.

Go ahead, fire the tooth fairy!  She needs a vacay................somewhere tropical.  Perhaps there is a baby crocodile looking for cash.  Heck, mom will pretend to lose teeth just to cash in on the money Shaeler is getting.

Has the tooth fairy ever messed up at your house and if so, what was her "excuse" that time?

Funny you should mention that. Maycie has lost 2 teeth in the last week and the first tooth the Toothfairy didn't make it the first night. I just told her that she must have had a lot of kids to visit and maybe she ran out of time or money. (Good thing I have Shaelar to back me up on that one.) I also told her that maybe she would get more because she had to wait! She got 5 bucks the second night. The next tooth she placed in a bag under her pillow and told me that she hoped the tooth fairy wasn't too busy that night. I assured her that she wasn't. That next morning as I was running at the gym I remembered that I once again had failed miserably at playing this tooth fairy roll! Luckily when I got home and snuck in her room, Mike caught me and told me that he had already taken care of it. I lucked out that morning! These are becoming costly mistakes!

That is funny...and yes, I have been there, done that..with 8 kids we were constantly searching for money to put under pillows! :D

How funny!! Surprisingly enough, Jackson has not yet lost a tooth. 8 years old and still all his baby teeth. Should I be worried?

HA! Your tooth fairy has a fantastic track record compared to ours! Ours doesn't just come at night, but whenever she has a free minuite. She a busy gal, you know? Brock informed me a week or so ago, that he's had a tooth under his pillow for a month..... he does tend to exagerate, but it wouldn't surprise me either! Good luck!

Ha Ha - I am SO guilty of doing this many times. I am sure you have come up with some brilliant explantations!

I forgot one time, so I quickly grabbed a dollar and dove under Roberts bed. I wasn't sure how to explain the tooth still being under his pillow.

Luckily Morgan came to my rescue and said "The Tooth Fairy left it because she thought it was an amazing keepsake that mom should put away for when Robert was older."

But I believe you are correct on all the teeth not needing to come out at one time. Morgan lost 7 in one month. Luckily it was last fall so I just handed her a 10 and said good job, now you get braces. ;)

we've been forgetting about my 10 year olds tooth for 2 weeks now, I just never have cash on hand! I tell him the fairy is probably on vacation and my hubby tells him it's because he doesn't believe.

Yes... just last week... and I felt really bad when Tenney told me she kept waking up all through the night to see if her dollar was there. :(

Tropical sounds great!!

I have done that also, I try to let them know that oh it was foggy, or it was the snow, or gee they must have been very busy and couldn't make it, then leave your self a note in your bathroom, etc I have even put money in my pocket so I would not forget, because when they lose it in the morning and then nothing more is said about it by evening we forget.
