There are 2 books that I have fallen in love with this year. I could read them over and over.
The first is a book called Edenbrooke by Julianne Donaldson.
Almost all the reviews I have read has given this book a 5 star review.
I also give it a 5 star review.
I love this book because it appeals to my Jane Austen romantic.
It is a wonderful story about a young girl who is sent to Edenbrooke to become a lady to be able to inherit her grandmothers fortune.
LOVE the relationship with Marianne and Phillip!
They even made a trailer for the book and I think it is great! Please watch:
My second recommendation is for a book called Michael Vey by Richard Paul Evans
I give this book also a 5 star review!
Even though it was action packed and the twist of the electrical Super Powers was intriguing, I loved this book because it was based upon moral principles and doing what is right even when things are hard.
The other reason I adore this book is that my 8 year old daughter could not get enough of it. She would beg for me to read another chapter, run in my room to read a chapter in the morning and it was the first book that she experienced the "movie in your head" reading. She loved this book as much as I did and we have had many conversations about it.
This is a great book for kids and one that I know that I can recommend to all ages. Youth to adult!
I am begging for someone to read Michael Vey because this is one that I would love to have a conversation with about!
Happy Reading!
